I don't know about the problems with the AWSTAPE, but I believe, PL/C is already
installed on the VM sixpack. There is a PLCT MODULE on the Y disk (MAINT 19e),
and I managed to get a little PL/1 program running using it (I have no tutorials
etc., so I did no big things with it, but I thought that this is a version of
PL/C).

I also got PL/1 F running, after some problems with GENDIRT.
