Hello,

there is a column DISTRIBUTE in SYSIBM.SYSPACKAGE (appeared with V9, I think)
which holds the information, if DB2 is to gather information about remote
subsystems from SQL statements or from a list (?) and to do remote binds to
those subsystems.

Values are A for automatic, and L for list (I think). See the description in SQL
reference.

Now I tried to find a new bind option, where this behaviour can be controlled,
and where (maybe) the list of subsystems for value L could be specified, but I
couldn't find it.

What did I get wrong? How can the new feature be used?

Thanks and regards

Bernd
